How I Work

I’m Jim Burns, NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist, and Corrective Exercise Specialist. I help adults 55+ improve strength, mobility, balance, and energy with simple, effective workouts — no big gyms, no confusion, no intimidation.

My private Be Simply Fit studio (right here in Ocean Acres) is calm, safe, and built for real people who just want to feel better, move better, and age with confidence.

I’m currently opening 2 new client spots this month for local residents who are ready to make a real change and get permanent help not just temporary relief. For the record I am a personal trainer who takes the word personal very seriously. I never work with more than one person; the client in front of me is my focus for a full hour. I want my clients to develop exercise independence and work on their program at home with confidence. We develop this ability after about 3 months of training and ultimately I become your life coach who you can call on when you need some encouragement, or maybe a program adjustment.  Usually we start with 2-3 days a week.
