Be Simply Fit By James Burns
Be Simply Fit
Being simply fit involves more than than the physical component, we all need to be fit mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well. Those who are have a better outlook on life and are more apt to treat others with kindness and respect. Secondly those who are fit in the four areas mentioned have a much higher self esteem and love themselves. Those who love themselves love others much more freely. For the record my name is Jim Burns and I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
Helping People Get Simply Fit In More Ways Than One
What Does It Mean To Be Simply Fit?
By James H Burns DHL, MA, NASM Certified Personal Trainer
I discovered a long time ago that I was never going to be Arnold Schwarzenegger, or as I had hoped a professional baseball player so I decided to just enjoy working out. This included running, weightlifting, and some skill activities like pick-up softball games or basketball games. In my 30’s and 40’s these worked fine but I found that I had to do more and more to stay in shape and to stay well simply fit. I am currently 69 years old, have had quadruple by-pass which I trained for and have come to terms with the fact that more isn’t necessarily better and as we grow older and we have to get the most bang for our buck when it comes down to exercise.
